「グローバル発展科目II」（新渡戸カレッジ オナーズプログラム 大学院カリキュラムの科目）のポスター発表会「The Future Forum」にぜひお越しください。本イベントは、北海道大学創基150周年記念事業と連携のもと開催されます。

北海道大学は、サステナブルなキャンパスの実現を長期的な目標として掲げています。現在、その将来像を定めるキャンパスマスタープランの策定が進められており、どのようなキャンパスを目指すべきか、そのためには何を準備し、何を設計すべきかという問いに向き合っています。大学院生たちはこの問いを研究テーマとし、タームを通じキャンパスの未来を探る調査に取り組みました。

学生たちは外部の観察者としてではなく、自らもキャンパスのコミュニティの一員として調査にあたりました。北大で学ぶ学生や教職員、研究者へのインタビューと対話を重ね、大学のサステナビリティへの取り組みに対するキャンパス全体の認識と、「こんなキャンパスになってほしい」という率直な声を収集しました。各チームはその声をもとに、「未来の北大キャンパス」を複数のシナリオとして描き上げています。

授業を通じてキャンパス各所でフィールドワークを実施しました。建物や施設、キャンパスのさまざまな空間を訪れ、そこで出会った方々との対話を重ねることで、日常の中に息づく価値観や期待を直接汲み取りながら提案を練り上げています。

このセッションはポスター形式で行われます。各チームが調査の成果と未来シナリオを英語で発表します。ぜひご覧いただき、学生たちの視点から描かれた未来のキャンパスについて、ともに語り合いましょう。

Come and join the Future Forum, the final poster showcase of Global Advanced Course II, part of Nitobe College’s Honors Program, presented in collaboration with Hokkaido University’s 150th Anniversary Project.

Hokkaido University has set a long-term goal of becoming a genuinely sustainable campus, and work is now underway on a Campus Master Plan to define what that future should look like. What kind of campus should HU become, and what needs to be built, designed, or changed to get there? Students took on those questions as their research challenge for the term.

Rather than studying the campus from the outside, students worked as members of the community they were investigating, conducting interviews and conversations with staff, students, and researchers from across HU. They gathered data on how the campus community currently understands the university’s sustainability aims, and on what kind of campus the people who live and work here want it to become. Each team has built that data into a set of future scenarios: concrete pictures of what this campus could look like.

Throughout the course, students carried out fieldwork across the campus, visiting buildings, facilities, and gathering spaces to observe how sustainability plays out in everyday campus life. Conversations with the people they encountered in those spaces grounded their scenarios in lived experience rather than assumption.

This session is presented in poster format, with each team sharing their research findings and future scenarios in English. Stop by, ask questions, and join the conversation about what kind of campus this could be.
