Final Presentations of Global Advanced Course I, Fall 2024
Students delivered their final presentations of our Graduate Curriculum Honors Program, Global Advanced Course I on Wednesday, November 27. Students were asked to develop solutions for “Tackling the Global Obesity Epidemic” using the Design Sprint process, and develop a 12-minute business pitch proposal which they presented during the final class.
Student’s proposals encompassed a broad range of solutions, including mobile applications, educational courses, and agricultural machinery.
Additionally, we were also grateful to welcome as guest speakers and commentators, Dr Hemanth Noothalapati, a Assistant Professor from the Department of Life Sciences at Shimane University, and Taruho Kuroda, a Nitobe College Mentor and CEO of BlackFields Consulting, with both guests giving students insightful feedback into their business proposals and providing vital insights into how to develop upon them in the future.
