Open Class of Foundation II: ‘Campus for Camp: What if refugees seek asylum in Sapporo?’

Nitobe College Foundation Program for Graduate Students will open the final presentation of Foundation II: Project Management to the public, with no pre-registration required.

Nitobe College students will present their final group projects on the theme of ‘Campus for Camp: What if refugees seek asylum in Sapporo?’, utilising the project management skills and tools learned during the program. In this final class, students will present projects related to three different issues related to accommodating refugees in Sapporo:

  • Education
  • Food Security
  • Shelter and Settlement

In addition, as a guest speaker, Taro Ogawa, the General Manager of the Facility & Development Department at Fighters Sports & Entertainment, will give a lecture elaborating on his experiences of managing and implementing projects in professional sports, most notably the key role he played in the development of the Fighter’s new home, Hokkaido Ballpark F Village.
