Final Presentations of Global Practical Course I, Spring 2025

Students delivered their final presentations of our Graduate Curriculum Pre-program course, Global Practical Course I on Tuesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 12. Student teams were asked to develop interdisciplinary solutions that leveraged each member’s specialist knowledge and skills towards “Building a Better Hokkaido University”.
Students were tasked with applying the skills that they developed during the course of Global Practical Course I and develop a 8-minute presentation one one of the following topics:
- How can Hokkaido University’s campus become more accessible and inclusive for students and staff with diverse physical or sensory needs?
- How can Hokkaido University better support the mental health and well-being of all its students?
- What innovative initiatives can inspire more Sapporo residents and Hokkaido University students to explore Ainu culture and history?
- How can Hokkaido University’s research and knowledge be shared more effectively to benefit the local community in Sapporo?
- How can Hokkaido University enhance its on-campus food systems to provide healthier, more sustainable, and culturally diverse options for everyone?
