Open Class of Foundation II “Improving Citizens’ Life Quality in Winter : The Case of Hokkaido”
Nitobe College Foundation Program for Graduate Students will open the final presentations of the Foundation II students to the public, with no pre-registration required.
Nitobe College students were asked to identify issues related to the improvement of Sapporo citizens’ life quality in winter and using snow and ice as resources for tourism development etc., applying the project management skills they had studied. In this final class, students will present the results of their projects.
In addition, we have invited as a guest speaker Tatsuo Nakajima, a Hokkaido University graduate and Director General for the Northern Territories’ Issue at the Hokkaido Government, who previously was head of departments in charge of aviation policy, transportation policy, adventure travel etc., and served for 6 years at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (including 3 years in Canada).
