Open Class of Advanced I: Some Solutions for the Global Goals

Nitobe College for Graduate Students Honors Program will open the final presentation of Advanced I: Problem Solving to the public, with no pre-registration required.

Nitobe College students were asked to solve problems related to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this final class, students will present the issues and solutions to four of the SDGs:

  • SDG 2: No Hunger
  • SDG 5: Gender Equality
  • SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

In addition, as a guest speaker, Dr Sajjad Kamal Shuvro, a Nitobe College alumni and co-founder of Floatmeal, a Nitobe College student startup which aims to eradicate malnourishment with sustainable farming, will give a lecture on the process of solving problems.
