I moved from National Astronomical Observatory to Hokkaido University in 2004. I have been working on space geodesy, studying earth and planetary physics using satellite data, and am interested in gravity and its change, crustal movements, upper atmospheric physics, earthquake and natural disasters.

I am not an expert of active learning, and have little experiences of classes of this kind of style. Nevertheless, I like talking with people on various topics, hearing interesting stories from remote countries, and exchanging opinions on social and natural problems with people of diverse backgrounds. So I look forward to learning with you although I do not have a clear image of the Nitobe School right now.
